Diablo II Lord of Destruction only partially loads

When I load Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, the opening Blizzard cinematic works perfectly. When I get to the load screen, character select, or main menu the game only loads in the top middle of the screen, leaving me unable to select what's outside of the box that's being displayed. The first time I loaded the game the entire screen was displayed, but it was not in fullscreen. I've never been able to replicate this, however, and since then I've only been able to get a partial bit of the screen to show. Does anyone have a fix for this?

you need to reinstall both dia 2 and LOD make a copy of your saved player if you have one (multiplayer is stored on blizzard servers so dont worry about that) go to battle.net create/login and download or if your creating an account add a game enter both game keys download the game install using wine and play you dont even need the game disk to play it if you downloaded the game of your battle.net account ps only run the LOD as the base game tends to be glitchy and LOD has all the base game and more i used this method and got near perfect results
