Install Hercules DJ Console RMX with wine

Hello dear forum,

I am currently trying to get away from Windows.
The only reason I am still using it is because of a DJ-Software named Traktor (Native Instruments).
But I actually managed to install and run it using Wine on Ubuntu 14.04.
Now the only issue is that I am using a Controller for this software, namely the "Hercules DJ Console RMX" for which I downloaded the appropriate Windows driver here: http://ts.hercules.com/ger/index.php?pg ... =215&cid=1

Now, when I try to install it, Wine opens and seems to install normally, except that it doesn't finish the installation but instead seems to freeze for a long time in the end.
Resulting in an Error, namely:

"Unhandled Exception:

Error Number: 0x80040708
Description: Unable to create required engine components. Check whether you have appropriate privileges to create COM components. (0x80004005)

Setup will now terminate."

I already found this thread from 2011: viewtopic.php?t=10860

But since I wasn't sure if the same answer was valid for my case and I did not want to continue this 3-year-old thread, I decided to do a new post.

It would be great if anyone could help me with this.

Edit: I use the current Wine version (1.6.2) on a 64 bit Ubuntu 14.04.
