Resistance and Liberation stopped working after a week

Hello. I have been using wine for a week to run a half life 2 mod called Resistance and Liberation. It worked for a week with just a couple of crashes. However, whenever I join a server, as soon as I press a button it crashes. I can use themouse to click through the class selections creens and even spawn in and look around, but any button I press after that crashes the game. Please help!
