Please help with installing a program (DAT Power)

Greetings- I am a bit stuck..
I am trying to get a program installed on my computer-

(this is a load board program for dispatchers to find loads for their trucks)

I have mint 17 installed (all updated and everything works beautifully..)
I have the newest wine installed..

I spent a good few hours fiddling around with this thing and I am here now- I can't figure this out..

Computer is older, it ran XP earlier and was a bit (well, more than a bit) bogged down..
Any help would be more than appreciated..

Exactly what version? People often think they have the latest when they don't. The current development release is 1.7.25; if that's not what you have, upgrade.

I first installed 1.7.25 then downgraded to 16.x.x (just to check) and I was having the same issue..

When I open the installer with Wine, the program I am trying to install asks me to accept the eula. After accepting, it thinks about installing for a second then gives me an error (I'll upload screenshots shortly..)
I find the log generated by the DAT program and reading it tells me that it can't run an .msi
I tried to manually run the msi with msiexec in terminal but it wouldn't let me go anywhere either..

I'm not sure how else to proceed.. I also installed winetricks but that doesn't seem to be of use to me..

Post terminal output, including the command used to run the installer, from 1.7.25 and a clean wineprefix (no winetricks or other tweaks, nothing else installed). http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log
