Hey all, so I've been trying to get Mass Effect (1) to install through Origin on Linux Trusty XFCE installed via Crouton on a Chromebook. I've successfully installed it, but the game won't launch any either through Origin or from the File Explorer with the error Activation.dll load failed.
I've done some research on the topic but everything I've run across seems to be for Wine for OS X, not Linux. From what I can tell it's a DRM check and is asking to run on a specific memory block. Why is this failing under Linux though? Is it something to do with Crouton? Is there any way around it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
