Is it possible, that WINE could integrated the unicode-reference fonts in its wingdings implementation?

Have a look at
http://www.unicode.org/charts/PDF/U1F300.pdf
Do you see, that some of that icons are in the Wingdings-font of Windows, too?

Possible the unicode-icons could be used for the Wingdings-implementation of WINE.

Unless you know an app that has specific font issues I doubt that wine developers are going to put much effort in such enhancement requests.
Especially since you can easily install true type fonts in wine as a "workaround".

Multiple apps need wingdings, and there's already a bug for it. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7156
