gdi32.dll used by Battle Field Bad Company 2

Hello

I installed Battle Fiels Bad Company 2 on wine 1.7.18 and Ubuntu 12.04 64bits.
When I start the game it don't work ant I get this echo in terminal :

According to the AppDB, you need to set the game to use DX9. http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p ... &iId=20333

Thanks for reply. I set DX9 But when I start the Game the screen intro blink and when the play start the screen in empty

do you think I can configure my GPU driver to solve this pb ?

The complet message on my terminal when I stop the gameafter the intro is the next. I get lot of "fixme" or "err". And I always the gdi32.dll error. I would like to solve this errors or warnings to reduce the source of problems. Do you think that is possible ?

You didn't mention what graphics card/driver you have. If it's nVidia or AMD and you are using the open source driver, try the proprietary one. Make sure you have the latest driver for your GPU.
