Hello guys!
Sorry if this is off-topic, but I just don't know where else to ask (it doesn't seem like general bug, mostly like specific glitch in my configuration).
I'm using Linux Mint 16 (amd64, cinnamon), wine1.7, bumblebee with primus bridge.
After successful installation I've launched ME3 and noticed some glitches with the mouse input - sometimes I can't turn camera right, sometimes left, almost any time I cant turn camera 360. I have completely no idea what's going on, maybe someone have faced that problem before (on another UE3-based game for example).
On my previous configuration (Ubuntu 14.04 x64, wine from ubuntu repos, bumblebee) everything worked fine, probably problem is within new beta wine?
Thanks everyone in forward.
Mass Effect 3 mouse glitches
Re: Mass Effect 3 mouse glitches
A quick way to tell if it's a regression in Wine is to downgrade to the earlier version that worked and see if that fixes it on your new system. If it does, run a regression test and file a bug. If it doesn't, it's some other difference between Ubuntu and Mint.

Thank you very much, I'll definitely give it a try tomorrow, when I'll get back to my home PC.dimesio wrote:A quick way to tell if it's a regression in Wine is to downgrade to the earlier version that worked and see if that fixes it on your new system. Also, I've just found:
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p ... &iId=28930
"I compiled wine on my machine, version 1.7.1. It's important to disable IM (Input Method), because it's currently unusable: wine has removed its locks, and IM code is currently static and unprotected, and continually crashes: set /HKCU/Software/Wine/X11 Driver/UseXIM = 0."
I think that may be a solution for my problem, but I'm not familiar with wine compiling. I tried to use wine regedit, but there is no "X11" branch in my HKCurrentUser/Software/Wine/. Probably I should add this part?
Thank you again.

If the solution is just to add the registry key, you don't need to compile Wine yourself. Yes, you will have to create the X11 Driver entry. http://wiki.winehq.org/UsefulRegistryKeys
