need help installing wine on ubuntu 14.04lts

ive been trying to install wine on ubuntu 14.04 from the ubuntu software center every time i attempt to install i get a messege saying the driver for my video card needs to be uninstalled the driver is nvidia 311
i really do not want to uninstall this driver can anyone please help me i included a picture of the messege

First, what your screenshot shows is that you are trying to install Q4Wine, which is not supported here. This forum is for plain Wine only.

Second, Wine binary packages are built by the distros, not here. If you have problems installing one, report it to the package maintainer. http://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=19854
