I have tried to upgrade from wine 1.6.2 to latest 1.7 The update work but my windows program Airmail.exe will not open in the 1.7 Works in 1.6.2 I have installed both 1.7 and 1.6.2 several times and always the same Airmail.exe will not open in 1.7 ? Can anybody help me with this. I have not used ubuntu so long time so a kind of newbeginner.

Try reinstalling the app in a clean wineprefix under 1.7.18. If it still doesn't work, run a regression test and file a bug. http://wiki.winehq.org/RegressionTesting

Reinstall Airmail and all work. Maybe Wine have to be first in place then install the windows app? Anyhow it works now thanks for info.
