Turning Point Polling Software

Hi All,

I am running Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit with Wine 1.7.
I also use Microsoft Office 2007. It all works fine.

I need to use Turning point Polling software. It adds a plugin (Extra menu to PowerPoint) I ONLY need this software for editing and creating new polls. I do not need to use the hardware. I use schools' PCs for that.

TurningPoint® 5.3.1 for PC Minimum System Requirements:
Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8 (32 or 64 bit)
Local Installation of Microsoft Office 2003, 2007, 2010 or 2013 (32 or 64 bit) (for PowerPoint Polling and viewing exported reports in Excel)
Microsoft .NET 3.5, SP1

I have installed .Net Framework 2.0 , 3.0, 3.5 SP1 with wine tricks. And all are installed successfully.
Then I installed TurningPoint® 5.3.1 successfully too.

But Turning point is not working and gives a error. I tried to add it as a com plugin from powerpoint but it crashes too.

I would really appreciative for your help. I do not want to use windows 8 just because of this software.

PS:To be able to run powerpoint, I added riched20.dll as native in wine.
