Hello,
I try to install Internet Explorer 10 32-bit. When I run the setup[1] it says downloading required updates for some times, but progress bar doesn't progress. Then a dialog pops up saying Internet Explorer needs an update before installing, clicking ok ends installation and opens:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2818833
where I can download a bunch of msu files[2], which however I can't find any way to install in wine.
So, how to advance?
TIA

Re: Help with Internet Explorer 10 32-bit
See in the app data base: https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager. ... ion&iId=25
There is not even an entry for IE10 (but you could create one) and even IE9 has not yet been installed successfully (to my knowledge).
I want to express that I am also very interested in solutions for this. With the phasing-out of XP (and long before) a lot of software have been dropping IE8 support. Is there any chance to see more modern IE support on the horizon?

If there's any software that doesn't work with wine-gecko, you should file a bug for that.
There's already a bug for IE9 not installing; you could file one for the problem with the IE10 installer. You could also file a request with winetricks.org to add either or both to winetricks.
