Does Wine support Game Capture HD?

I've been looking into upgrading my laptop to Ubuntu for a few days now, and tried it and really liked it. But I was wondering before I upgrade if Game Capture HD for Elgato could use Wine to be used. I really need my laptop for different consoles that my desktop cannot reach. Thanks a bunch.

The one test report in the AppDB rates it garbage, though that report is pretty old. http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p ... &iId=27275

From what I can tell from the vendor's site, this appears to be software to control a USB device. Support for USB devices is very limited in Wine; unless it is serial over USB, or mounts as a standard mass storage device, it won't work in Wine.

Thanks for your response, is it possible to run Game Capture HD through the had Virtual Box?
