Banished. Runs very slowly and is unplayable.

New game Banished opens just fine but frame rate drops to something less than 1 FPS.

got an upload box, so I assume it is there.

I pressed browse, the file showed in the box. I pressed add the file and got the upload dialogue. the file dosn't show up in the filename box thereafter. ??

FYI, three people have recently submitted AppDB test reports for this game, and none mentioned the framerate being a problem.

Have you disabled DX11? The AppDB test reports all say you need to. http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p ... &iId=29915

It is present, but the game self-configures for DX9. I'll try it with a new prefix without DX11. I suspect my graphics driver is the problem, but this is worth a try. Game does not crash.

Further to last, created a new wine prefix defaulted to Windows XP, added nothing and installed Banished. No joy. System hung trying to open a new game instance. Essentially the same log output as previous.

The more I look at this the more I think it is not a wine problem. I think I need a new GPU.

I got this error too. As I remember installing winetricks' xact helped.
