Installation problem on ubuntu

I am using ubuntu 12.04, wine 1.6.1
I wan to install a game which can be downloaded from http://www.navyfield.com/Download/Game/Main.aspx

After I type "wine xx.exe", I received the following message:

sorry, I am new to linux and wine, I hope I have stated the problem clearly.

Speaking as a user of 12.04 more often than not it defaults to WINE 1.4 version. I don't know where or how you installed WINE 1.6.1? At this point, your problem could be anything from your choice of installation to the application you are trying to run.

My solution to installing any WINE package is the following;

I place the WINE just off my $HOME in a hidden folder such as .wine-1.6.1 and use the sub folders bin, lib, and share. This means all my binaries can be found in /home/<user ID>/.wine-1.6.1/bin Although please note I am running more than one version of WINE, I don't use 1.6.1 the current release is 1.7.12.

In order to access the proper version of WINE, I then use a small script file:

Many programs that demand high memory and graphics will need some additional tweaks. Most of my apps work fine with the default 1.4 on my system. I only resort to using higher versions of WINE when the program refuses to function. However the developers recommend you always upgrade to the latest version.

Additional Information

I took the time to search "ClientIdentity_QueryMultipleInterfaces" and found it to do with 32bit vs 64bit CPU arch.
