Clipboard inside bottled application

I was previous running the Quickbooks Timer successfully on a different MacBook Pro (10.

running an earlier version of Wine.

Today, I am on a new MBP (10.9) running WINE 1.6.2. This one is notably different in that XQuartz does not launch along with the Quickbooks Timer. It seems that, without running XQuartz first and then launching the QBTimer, I cannot copy/paste items within the Timer application.

Is there a way to enable copy/paste within the QBTimer without the need to launch XQuartz first?
