Cannot open program in windowed mode

Hello,

I installed Wine yesterday for the first time to play "Might and Magic VI".

The only way to play the game (without screen flickering) is in windowed mode at 640x480 resolution, which was working fine yesterday. Today, however, Wine ALWAYS opens the game in full screen (which is pretty much unplayable), even though the "screen options" are the same (see attached screenshot).

I tried all screen options, restarted etc. ∼ nothing seems to work

Does anybody have an idea how to solve this issue? Any help is appreciated

The "Screen Options" dialog you posted does not exist in plain Wine. I don't know what particular third party app that belongs to, but none of them are supported here. Ask for help from whoever/wherever you got it from.
