Where should I start?
I've installed the manga studio ex v.5.0.2 and succesfully run it using wine v.1.4 I can use everything in the program with no issue. I was so happy because this program is part of my work tool and I finally get my hands into it. But something when wrong, I noticed that when I'm using the wacom bamboo tablet (the tablet that I use when I'm going to draw) it works correctly as I select every single button in the program (pen, pencil, new layer, tone, etc) but when I'm going to start draw, as I move the mouse (pen, eraser, line, tone, mouse, anything, etc) with the bamboo pen to the drawing page it turns invisible. When I move it off the drawing page it turns visible. But if I use the touch pad (my laptop mouse, touch pad, mouse pad), everything works perfect, I can move it anywhere and it works good. Can anybody please help me solve this issue? I know notthing about codding and no matter where or how I search on google I found notthing that can help me solve this issue. Please help me, please!!
P.S.
Maybe I should let you know that I'm using Ubuntu 12.04LTS.
P.S.S.
Sorry for my bad English.
ISSUES USING WACOM BAMBOO TABLET WITH MANGA STUDIO EX 5.0.2
Re: ISSUES USING WACOM BAMBOO TABLET WITH MANGA STUDIO EX 5.
First of all you should try with at least wine 1.6.1, the newest stable, or wine 1.7.8. Wine 1.4 is really ancient.
Re: ISSUES USING WACOM BAMBOO TABLET WITH MANGA STUDIO EX 5.
Thank you for answering, I just did as you sugested (I updated to wine1.6 'cause wine1.7 is a beta a might produce un-expected errors) and the problem keep persisting with no changes. Please, help me!! Anybody!!
Re: ISSUES USING WACOM BAMBOO TABLET WITH MANGA STUDIO EX 5.
1.6 called "stable" because it does not change much (so no recent bugfixes and features). So first thing to try is to install current Wine version (1.7.8 or 1.7.9). If upgrade does not help, read existing bug report - http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=33056 and check if your issue is the same (try workaround described there)? If yes confirm it, if no create your own bug report.
