Wine installs and runs an app smoothly but can't display the cascading menus. The full menu is displayed for half a second and then only the top option/item in the menu is displayed--even when re-clicking the drop-down menu icon. Restarting the app repeats the same sequence of events.
I tried installing riched20 and 24 in winetricks but to no avail.
Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks.

Wine version? If it's not the latest development release, upgrade.
What app is this? Have you checked the AppDB and Bugzilla for known problems/workarounds?

It's a surveillance app that accesses the video feed of my surveillance system at work and displays the video of four cameras. But I can't get past the login window because the menu doesn't display the options long enough for me to choose the correct one.
I'm not familiar with AppDB or Bugzilla. I'll go check them out right now, but the app isn't very well-known so I doubt it'll be listed. Maybe another app with a similar bug was reported and a work-around was found.
