Orion Dinoe Horde version 4.1 (Wine 1.7.8) - Instructions

Hi there,

last Sunday I tried to submit/add "Orion Dino Horde " as a application to winehq.org. For a unknown reason I received nothing.

That's the reason I share expected information to play this game on the forum.

Wien 1.7.8 works

Before installing Steam and installing the game here are the prerequisites

0. Set up a new/fresh WINEPREFIX

export WINEPREFIX=/some/path
winecfg

1. winetricks vcrun2008 vcrun2010 xact_jun2010 dotnet40

2. Install Steam

winetricks --no-isolate steam

3. Log into Steam using your own credentials and buy the game
Let Steam install the game

4. Play the game.

The only issue is black texture (from time to time). It works pretty well
