Window 95 Game, problem with DirectX

Im running Fedora
I'm completely new to wine and I'm trying to get this old game
http://www.enemynations.com/downloads/ to run.
I've been trying things google's found me, to get it working, but I've been unsuccessful thus far.
I've got the extracted files in the .wine programs folder.
Using wine windows program loader, the ENations.exe won't execute, so I opened the setup.exe.
It will start installing, i get music, but I come across a DirectX error. (I think it's DirectX v3)
I got the same message trying the install from the autorun.exe as well.

I was wondering if anyone had some advice that maybe easier before i venture into trying this.
