Steam-Client fails to login since last update (3rd of Dec)

Hi guys,

Since the last Update of Steam-Client from the 3rd of December, I'm no longer able to login to my Steam-Account over wine . Does anyone have experienced the same issue?
There may need to be done an adjustment in the winecfg to get it run properly again… I don't know. I'm wondering if that issue has occurred to others as well after the update . Would may need some other confirmed cases to get the focus on it… I'm looking for a solution in the meantime and will gladly post it of course if I would come to a workaround.

I have the same problem, and cant figure it out even with the solutions posted. Can someone explain it to me better please?

Upgrade Wine to 1.7.8.
