Not enough information to assist in any major way. vrblasasn

wine --version if this is less than 1.6 upgrade please.

This does suggest you need a fairly huge machine.

I would also suspect you don't have drivers installed. Wine needs 32bit libraries on 64 bit systems users common miss installing 32 bit version of libraries for video card and have bad things happen.

Finally if all this does not work please bring us a log. http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log

vrblasasn we do try to be nice. You did not even tell us what distribution or anything you were on. Please in future attempt to avoid me having to be a mind reader.

My apologies, things got hectic when i was typing that. i didn't even realize i submitted it unfinished. I'm running a Asus g73 jh with and I7 processor. six gigs ddr3 ram, one gig ATI HD5870 graphics card. My O.S. is Ubuntu 13.1 x64 and my wine version is 1.7.6. I don't have a crash log to post, because it doesn't give me one. on my last attempt to get one i got it to the main screen, selected a historical battle, as it was loading the battle it froze my entire system

vrblasasn I asked for a log not a crash log.
cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Games/Tron
wine tron.exe &> log.txt

debugging log is what I am asking for. Wine generates this all the time crash or not. Most of the time this goes into no mans land..

first id like to thank you for all of your help, I've fixed the graphics problem, but it's still extremely unstable and tends to crash often. I'm using play on Linux for a virtual drive, i have two logs. Playonlunix.log, and debug.log for steam. last question is how do i upload it to the message for you to see it? again, very new to all of this!

vrblasasn playonlinux we don't support here.

http://www.playonlinux.com/en/forums.html due to what playonlinux does and hides from end users we are unable to provide support for it.

We provide support for using wine project directly.
