Current Wine packages for Ubuntu are here: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-wine/+archive/ppa. When you try to install it, your package manager should tell you what, if any, dependencies you are missing.
Re: How to install WINE without INTERNET???
Linux systems have their own modem dialers and device dialers. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Dialu ... etUpDialer these integrate with the Linux pppd stack.
dpt179 I have had a lot of people think there windows dialer software is required when Linux includes the dialer to drive the hardware.

Re: How to install WINE without INTERNET???
dpt179 really you are asking a distribution question.

dpt179 this really falls into not our problem. Installing packages is a Distribution problem. Distributions all have offline bundling tools for applications.
dpt179 yes I know this would seam a little wrong saying not our problem. People coming from windows are use to the idea applications are bundled with all their dependences. This is not Linux way. Reason you want the latest security updates in current day bundle.
The big problem here is a lot of the tools for bundling for offline installation are not maintained on debian systems.
