Cannot create D3D device Steam Wine 1.5.20
I am currently trying to migrate my steam/origin games to linux using POL and Wine. I have an instance for steam setup with all the directx natives redirected to the native dll's on the virtual drive. Whenever I try to play a game, e.g GRID 2 Steam gives me the error 'Cannot create D3D device'. I have tried setting width and height in the launcher options, but it doesn't work whatsoever. Any help would be appreciated.

Your Wine version is old and no longer supported. Upgrade to the latest development release and reinstall Steam to a clean wineprefix following the instructions in the AppDB.
Installing all of native directx is not recommended and likely to break things. Only install the specific dlls your game needs.
