Earlier, i went to install a game called 1NSANE on Wine version 1.4. On the compatibility page for the game: http://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&rct=j ... 3672,d.dGI It's rating is Gold for Wine version 1.0.1. However, i have a problem with it. After i installed it and went to run the game, the screen turns to black, then my screen resolution turns funny and i get an Error:
FATAL: Cannot initialize display device.
Is there any way i can fix this?

Start by upgrading Wine to 1.6 or later. If it still doesn't work, post terminal output.

After upgrading my graphics card from an ATI Raedon 128MB card, to a Nvidia GeForce XF55100 256MB card, 1NSANE is now working fine! Please mark this topic as solved.
