problem with capture card

Has anybody successfully run a TV/CCTV app under wine? I get an error message "cannot find card" "No card detected"

Is the card working in Linux? Windows hardware drivers don't work in Wine.

Yes I have two capture cards both working. One is a TV card which I use with Kaffeine and the other is CCTV capture card and I have this working with either Cheese or Zoneminder. I Just wanted to try the cheap app that came with the card but its designed for Windows
