I'm running Wine 1.6r4 in Linux 12.04. My wife has Office 2010 installed on her PC. She had to buy Office 2010 through work with a special arrangement with Microsoft. She downloads an exe file that installs Office on her PC. I want to do the same in Wine but so far with no luck.
When I double click on the X17-75238.exe file, it launches but what i get is this. The installation of this package failed, just after it extracts the files needed. How can I make this work? What do I need to do?
Is it possible maybe to see what this exe file is doing? Like maybe opening it in a text editor to view the installation script? Please advice.

I decided to install Wine 1.4 instead. I was successful in installing office 2010. The only app that does not work is outlook.
