Bravo to Wine developpers ! Indeed, after last update in Lubuntu 13.04, Ifranview works better than on Win (cleverer ram use in Lub). Have you noticed other programs in that case ? Wonderfull Linux world that I'm discovering !

I actually came to make a similar thread. I'm using wine 1.6-rc3 on gentoo, and it's been unbelievable. Almost everything I've thrown at it I've gotten to work and there's a very noticeable amount of improvement from older versions to me. I owe being able to quit windows for good thanks to wine.
