As the title states, I have a request. Can FMRTE be implemented into Wine? I would like to get rid of Bindows completely if possible. Steam already has a Linux version which is brilliant and FMRTE in Wine will put icing on the cake.
The only Windows executables that Wine implements equivalents for are the ones that ship with Windows--notepad, regedit, etc. So no, FMRTE will never be implemented as a part of Wine.
Now, if by "implement" what you actually mean is that you want to be able to run the Windows app in Wine, go ahead and do it. You don't need anyone's permission. If it doesn't work, file bugs for what doesn't work. While you're at it, you might want to submit an AppDB entry for it, since there is none.
I doubt that Wine FMRTE will be able to hack Linux Football Manager,
so you're probably SOL.
Also, supporting cheat engines isn't likely to be high up on many wine developers' to-do list.
Still, if the game itself runs in Wine, the corresponding cheat engine doesn't
work on the Windows version of the game in Wine, and you want it to,
then you should file a bug describing the problem.
