Wine .exe problem

Hello , I'm sorry to have to say this but i just downloaded a game installed it but cannot run the .exe on my desktop nor in the Programs .. i have right clicked the .exe and made it executable and everytime i double click the .exe a black screen flashes ... really i'm not sure what else to do ... i tried to cd my way into the program files but terminal keeps giving me this :

First, never run Wine as root. http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#run_as_root
