no '/' in Filepaths in Wine

Hello

I just started to use Wine on Ubuntu 12.04 to use a commercial software that only exists for Windows.
The installation process from DVD starts well but their programmers implemented a check for special characters for the installation directory.
If I try to install to 'c:\Foobar', the software complains that I use on of these characters: (äüö(...) /,!?...)
It took me some minutes to understand it, but:

/home/foo/.wine/dosdevices/c:/Foobar

So I guess that the application reads the full (Linux-) path and sees the '/'

As all absolute Linux-Path contain the slash, I wonder if there is a way to use this software with Wine.

Try running the installer with

Also, you didn't mention what Wine version you're using. If it's not the latest development release, upgrade.

Sorry, I used v0.121.
I've now updated to rev. caa452e958b8 or and --version returns wine-1.4

1.4 is still old. The current development release is 1.5.31. Upgrade and test in a clean wineprefix.
