Font smoothing/anti-aliasing on Mac OS X

Hello forum!

I'm relatively new to wine and I've been searching all around the web for an answer to my question. How do I enable font smoothing in Wine on Mac OS X if it is even possible? I've come across

and also

, but none of them has worked out my problem of very ugly text throughout my apps.

Has anyone found a Mac solution to this problem?
