help with first use of wine with mounted drive/ ubuntu 12.04

hello. i am a newbie to wine on ubuntu 12.04. i have a virtual drive mounted on ubuntu but wine does not seem to see it ( have used the winecfg) to see if it detects it, but the drive does not show up. could someone please guide me on how/ or where i need to look to resolve this? i have looked at the wiki, the manual and this forum but have not seen this addressed. unfortunately i am not too technical so would request gentle treatment

thank youfor responding. i used the "Home Folder" icon on the gui, right click on the drive name (Photos) & selected mount. i confirmed it was mounted using the mount command in terminal, however it did not show up as detected when using autodetect on the wine configurator. the application i hope to use is picasa but it also does not show the "Photos" drive in the drive list (only C and Z).

Did you mount the drive before running winecfg? You need to.

Try adding it manually in winecfg.

hello again. yes i did mount the drives before running winecfg and they show up as mounted in ubuntu but not on winecfg with autodetect. unfortunately i am not sure how to add the drive manually so i will first read up on that and see if i can work out how to do it. thank you for your suggestions to date.
