Kentucky Route Zero Act I

Post by MrProsser »

I recently tried the Windows version of Kentucky Route Zero Act I, using Wine-1.5.28. The OS is lubuntu 12.10. I see two graphical problems. When I run in a window it appears that the screen is too small. Conversion text goes below the bottom of the window and cannot be seen. Additionally it appears to be too narrow and text is cut off on the sides.

When I go to fullscreen mode I only see the top left quarter of the image. I tried to take a screencap of this but when I look at the screencap I can see the entire game window.

Does anyone have any idea why this might be occurring or how it might be worked around?

Have you tried running in an emulated virtual desktop? (Graphics tab in winecfg)

You could also try various combinations of allowing/not allowing the window manager to decorate/control the windows.

If desktop effects are enabled, try turning them off, or if not enabled, try turning them on.

Hi,
Thanks, I tried running it with the virtual emulated desktop, increased the resolution to 1280x1024 and it works extremely well now.
