Running Silent Hunter 3 - PROBLEM

Hi all, Im new to Wine and fairly new to Linux in general, so please bear with me.You've probably been asked this before but i cant find the answer anywhere so i'll ask anyway.

Im trying to run Silent Hunter 3 through wine from PC DVD. All Installed fine. Lovely. Went to open the game and a box pops up "Protection - Reboot computer, then open game" (words to that effect. I'd already read about this and that i should do a wineboot. Not sure how to do this so i just typed in wineboot in my search bar. It came up with "Run Wineboot" - Clicked this then tried to reopen game, but the same "Protection" dialogue came up again. What am i doing wrong? Caan anyone tell me how to run this software? (Remember, Novice )

I'm Using Linux Mint 13 (Maya). Thanks

According to the AppDB, the DVD edition of this game uses StarForce 3.x, which does not work in Wine.
