Text problem in Gta San Andreas Multiplayer 0.3x

Post by CC3 »

Hi.
Sorry for my english.

Wine version: 1.5.24 (from repositories)
OS: Fedora 18 x86
Hardware: AMD Athlon x64 3.2 GHz dual core CPU, 4 GB RAM, GeForce 7600GS 256 MB video card (driver installed in Fedora).
Terminal output: in atachment (too big)
Problem: I dont see any text in: chatbox, listboxes, buttons, editboxes, player names and so on. Sometime I don't even see (part or at all) the window...
But I can type in the chatbox and editboxes (even if I don't see what I type or the cursor) and issue commands to the server.
What it looks like:

What it should look like:

What I've tried: since I'm not an expert, pretty much nothing.
However for some time (weeks) I have installed some ms fonts in OS for smplayer (subtitle). Among them it's Arial (I understand that Gta San Andreas Multiplayer uses it in game).
URL: I think it's illegal to post the game, sorry... But if you find a legal way just tell me how and I should do it.

I've seen that most of the testers from http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p ... &iId=18213 don't have this problem but most of them are from Ubuntu...

Could you help me, please...?
Thank you.

Regards, CC3.

The howto in the AppDB says the game needs winetricks d3dx9. Have you tried that?
