CMD running outside terminal window

Hello everyone,

I recently had to re install a server and lost a lot - server is running Centos 6.

Before I was using wine to run a .bat file via wine cmd. When I ran the bat file a new window (a CMD window) popped up, but now when I run it the bat opens in the current terminal window. When I try wineconsole cmd it gives me font errors (No decent font). Is there a way to correct this?

*Note* I'm not a very advanced Linux user, usually I can find what I need via Google - accept for this.
