Problem with the games of the Total War series

Post by Rente »

Hello, First of all - I would like to apologize for my English

I have an unusual problem with the games of the Total War series - more specifically Rome and Medieval 2

Medieval 2 - was installed without any problems, the latest stable Wine.
Rome - via PlayOnLinux, failed to run - successfully started by using tips from the test (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p ... ngId=63008), patched to version 1.5

Games run without problems, but the loading screen and the menu is illegible and broken down into triangles. I put a few screenshots below to show the problem.

The problem seems to be a purely graphic, music is correct, although the menu itself is unreadable respond to clicks, and after closing, there is no error report.
So I wonder if anyone he had similar graphic problems ...

I would be grateful for any suggestions or help

Hardware: Intel i3-2350M, 4GB DDR3, Intel HD 3000

I have the exact same issue, I'm thinking it might have something to do with the driver as I also have Intel graphics. Can you print output of command

Code: Select all

lspci
? Interesting to see if it's the exact same card. My thread is at http://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=18541
