Hello,
Wine works correctly for me,
but there is the wineboot process each time I launch an application, and this is very slow.
My previous distrib was Tango studio 32 bits (based on Ubuntu 10.04) and I am now with Archlinux 32 bits.
I have installed wine and just copied my wine bottles, and at first it was very quick : applications just launched instantly on my SSD.
But now (after an update or just nothing ?), it is slow, just as with Tango studio.
Hoping you have some ideas,
Best regards,
Hunirio

Wine version? If it's not the latest development release, upgrade.
Does the problem occur with a fresh install to a clean wineprefix?

Thanks Dimesio,
problem solved by deleting .wine directory.
It seems that after an update something changed in .wine
