I'm having some problems with graphics on wine-1.5.24. You can look at the screenshot below.

hello core,

I don't think so because it works fine on wine-1.5.10. This is the original game not the demo.

BTW: Running on Slackware 14 64bit Nvidia GeForce 430GT driver 3.10.32

It can be some parts of this bug. Try in clean wineprefix with native dx.
