trouble installing call of duty

hi im having trouble installing call of duty game of the year addition it will download first cd but then wont even start the second on it just reads error file D:\setup\data\main\pak1.pk3 could not be loaded what do i do to fix this i have linuxmint 14 operationg system with wine version 1.4.1

It's not a Wine trouble. You should eject disk manually from desktop and then load next disk.

ihave done that but every time it gives me the same thing and i cant figure out if im missing something or if i need to find a different version of wine

That's a long standing bug that has never received the attention it needs, even though it is years old. Basically, you need to copy the contents of both cd's to one folder, and then run the setup program from that folder. If it works for you, I recommend burning that folder to a dvd for use next time.

Is this the original Call of Duty? I actually like that one.
