compiled package with vertex blending fix?

Can anyone show me a direct download link for a pre-compiled package of wine with the vertex blending fix patch? I've tried everything I can, but even following the strictest instructions and trying everything I can, I can't seem to successfully compile it by myself OR get my package manager to recognize repositories where a version is hosted. I'm new to linux and don't have any experience successfully adding repositories for synaptic or successfully compiling anything from source.

Any help? Anyone have a pre-compiled package they're willing to share, or a sure-fire way to get one?

Packages are specific to distros, so without knowing what distro you're using, there's no way for anyone to answer your question.

Ask for help on your distro's support forum. This is something you will need to learn if you are going to stay with Linux. While you're there you can also ask if anyone knows where to find a precompiled package with the patch for your distro.
