I'm only 13 years old, so I'm not really going to understand a lot of code mumbo jumbo.

ok, my computer is probably 6-7 years old by now, it was original-y a windows xp or something but it died, so a friend but ubuntu on it, I am still in the natty narwhal version (11.04 I think? no idea)
and I followed all the instructions on the download page, and the did not work, I tried the terminal version, and after each time, when I tried to put in the PPA repository through the terminal, and it said that it doesn't exist, I continued with the instructions anyway, put in the next line, sudo apt-get update, said something else about it not being anywhere in the system, I then typed sudo apt-get install wine1.5 and it basically said "what's a wine1.5?" (in a dopey voice)
can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong, or if my computer is just too old and broken to do anything any more?
If anyone actually reads this, thank you for taking the time to read through it.
no matter what i do, my computer just will not install WINE!
Re: no matter what i do, my computer just will not install W
AFAIK, Ubuntu only builds wine1.5 packages for the current version of Ubuntu, so there probably aren't any for whatever version you're on. There may be a wine1.4 package.
