It's seems that several people are encountering an issue launching World of Warcraft after upgrading to Wine 1.5.20. For my part the upgrade I have applied to my Mint 14 x64 system since yesterday, when I last launched Warcraft successfully, is the .20 update.
Errors are posted on the AppDb page. I have taken the advice offered there and rolled back to 1.4 temporarily, I am more that willing to install a 1.5.20 and test in parallel though.
