Alter Ego and Batman Arkham Asylum question

By the way, the same output with Batman Arkham Asylum Demo version 1.2 tested today.

Guys, come on, it's so sadly. Want to remember old days and replay this game, but can't.

Upgrade to Wine 1.5.20, if the problem persists post the complete log generated by Wine.
Is it the DVD version of Alter Ego or digital distribution version?
The DVD version surely contains DRM (either Starforce or Securom) and some of the DD sites like Gamersgate sell the game with Securom.
Have you tried to launch the game with RunDev.exe (instead of AlterEgo.exe)?

Yes, it's the DVD version by Noviy Disk Ukraine with StarForce v5.70.009.002
I launched through AlterEgo.exe and RunDev.exe singly. Last gives output code pasted in the first message.

Unfortunately, Starforce is a no-go in Wine..

Ok, thanks, I'm understand. But what about Batman: Arkham Asylum demo, it's just a demo without any protections.
