Hello,
I'm trying to use Sage Line 100 under Linux. However when I try to install the "Sage server" for client, the install program tells me that my TCP/IP communication protocol is not configured. Then even if Sage works localy (in a mono-user environment), I can't use it in a multi-user environment (where database is accessed through a TCP communication with our remote server).
I tried to update the /etc/hosts file to set the corresponding IP but it changes nothing.
My wine version is 1.4.1 and, for sure I have no TCP/IP problem under linux (I can access the remote server without any problem.)
Any help would be very appreciate since I must restart my computer multiple times per day to switch from one OS to another and only for this application..

You could try to upgrade to latest wine version, run (the installation of the server) from command line and post terminal output. You might try to play around with e.g. using .NET instead of mono. If there's no obvious error, then you'd have to file a bug report. Is there a free demo/trial of that software? If not, it might make the resolution of that issue harder, still not impossible, but it needs an interested wine dev and your cooperation by producing certain debug logs the devs will ask for. Unfortunately some/many ERP/CRM business software apps aren't working well on wine, as the professional wine devs (Codeweavers) concentrate their effort on things like MS Office and some of these software 'products' really do have ugly(tm) license manager components.
You might be better off installing e.g. Windows XP in a VMWare or virtualbox, then at least you wouldn't have to reboot.
