question about crytek 3 and star citizen

Post by bcruz111 »

i am new to forum, please let me know if i posted in wrong area,

i am a backer for star citizen (using crytek 3) and since crytek 3 does not support linux i am asking the developers to make sure wine works as a back up plan,

are there any guidelines or code standards or any input from the wine experts on how star citizen can use crytek 3 in a way that works with wine better?

do you want alpha builds of the game every 2 months to help do tests?

i am hoping we get native linux support but wine is a great back up plan

let me know if you have any ideas on how to get star citizen on linux native or linux wine.

I'm not sure (I don't understand you), but I play Crysis 2 (on CryEngine 3) and it works good

I know that this is a late response to this thread, but do you manage Crysis 2 without any patches? If so, how?
