I have setup an emulated desktop of 1920x1200 on most of the programs I run on wine (games mostly). This has always been working perfectly. I recently noticed that when the applications are started up, there is no big blue screen over the screen, indicating that the emulated desktop started. The games still work perfectly, but the reason I'm using it in the first place is because it makes it easier to switch to other virtual desktop, a linux version of alt-tabbing (far superior, but doesn't matter now). When I come back at the virtual desktop of the game, I can see the "start" strip of xfce.
Once again, this was always working perfectly, I don't even know how to start debugging. In winecfg it's already set up for emulation. I've tried removing the application and re-adding it again with my desired setup.
Anyone else experiencing this? I have updated wine a couple of days ago, but I just noticed this today. This happens on all applications, it's sort of like it's not reading the preferences.
Any help would be appreciated!
