window manager problems

Checking "Allow window manager to control windows" causes strange lag, unchecking causes losing keyboard focus (cant use keyboard).
First bug happens in all applications, second with steam and counterstirike 1.6 ( some apps like starcraft broodwar work fine).

No, I run virtual desktop for apps that lose keyboardfocus, I cant get any decent performance from games cause i have to run them in high resolution
